The Plum and the Prune is an independent publication launched in the summer of 2025 when the Trumptarian takeover of America was gaining way too much momentum.
We publish political satire and short fiction and hopefully a lot of other stuff in 2026 and beyond. We want to cover ICE protests, profile creatives, comedians, outsiders. We work remotely, mostly in Santa Cruz (Dude, what's up?) and Detroit (What up, Doe?).

We hope this site becomes a gathering place for resistors, patriots, anti-ICE protesters, creatives, revolutionaries, maybe even fashion designers (seriously, nothing like a good aesthetic to defeat delusional dimwits like Stephen Miller). Really, anyone who in some way wants to find a way to do SOMETHING to stop all this awful, deadly stuff the US government seems hellbent on continuing.
